I really enjoyed this one. The acting was top-notch and the screenplay was great. I've always been a fan of movies inspired by real-world events, and this was a fantastic execution of that. While the story wasn't a literal play-by-play of real life, the core concept was very clear. It's the perfect movie for your free time. DiCaprio is one of my favorites, and he has such great chemistry with Tom Hanks. If you're looking for something relaxing that doesn't require intense focus, definitely give it a chance.

I enjoyed the film overall. In many ways, it felt concise and straightforward. Since I'm more used to following detective-serial killer dynamics in TV series, some parts of the story felt a bit rushed to me. The pace was not especially high, and at certain points I found myself losing focus. The performances were solid and convincing. As for the lighting in some scenes, I do think the criticism was justified. Even so, I'm glad I watched it because I enjoyed it in the end. While many people place it at a masterpiece level, I would say it falls a little short of that for me.

I really enjoyed watching this film, and more than anything, it left me with a sense of peace. At its core, it may be a very simple film, even just a modest love story between two people, but for me it felt deeply meaningful. I think a big part of that came from how perfectly the film matched the mood I was in while watching it. Because of that, what stayed with me was not only the story itself, but the emotions it brought out in me. There was also a strong sense of nostalgia in the way the film felt, and that made the experience even more special. Vienna, a city I have visited before and one of my personal favorites, suited the film just as much as the characters did. Even when I try to talk about the movie, I realize I end up focusing less on the film itself and more on how it made me feel, because it genuinely made me feel good. Watching it with someone with whom I was writing my own story may also be one of the reasons it affected me so deeply.

I've finished the first two seasons, and so far I can say I've enjoyed House of the Dragon quite a lot. I started it with relatively modest expectations, mostly because I was worried that a story so closely tied to Game of Thrones might not reach the same level, except for season 8, of course. But episode after episode, I found myself enjoying it more than I expected. Aside from a few minor things I didn't particularly like, the series has been consistently engaging and entertaining. I'm definitely looking forward to the next seasons.

Compared with Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, the two other series I've watched from the same universe, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has a much calmer pace, and that is something I genuinely appreciate. I do not think anyone visiting my personal website would want to run into spoilers, so while I will avoid commenting scene by scene, I can still say that, apart from a few moments, the story has felt peaceful rather than intense so far. There is a certain sense of calmness to the series that makes it a very pleasant experience, and I think that is something everyone can appreciate from time to time. The level of action and adventure may very well increase in the coming episodes and seasons, and I will probably enjoy that too. But as things stand, I am quite satisfied with the experience so far and eagerly waiting for what comes next.

4.5/5
I'm still only in the first season, so for now I'd say I'm watching it more as a light, easygoing show, and I think it does that job very well. After going through so many sitcoms, I picked this one as something to watch while eating or during other quiet moments in the day, and I've been quite happy with that choice. The fact that it has nine seasons does feel a little intimidating at this stage, mainly because I wonder whether some patterns might start to repeat themselves after a certain point. Since I'm still early on, I'm not sure if my enjoyment will stay at the same level, but I plan to keep updating my page as I continue with the series and see how my opinion changes over time. For now, though, I can comfortably recommend it to anyone looking for something to watch without wanting anything too demanding, something calm, enjoyable, and easy to follow throughout the day.

The writing didn't feel very fluid compared to modern books, and I found it hard to stay motivated to read for long stretches. Because of that, it took me longer to finish than I expected. It was interesting to see how the early ideas of Turkish nationalism were expressed back in the early 20th century, but it wasn't exactly a 'fun' read. I had always been curious about this book, and I'm glad I finally got through it just to see what it was like. While many of the ideas are outdated and don't feel very relevant today, I can see why it's considered an important part of Turkish history and culture.

I read this book as part of a book club. While it was an easy and quick read, I didn't actually enjoy the content. From my personal perspective, if I hadn't read this book, my life would be exactly the same; it just didn't leave much of an impression on me. I've rated it 2 stars because it wasn't for me, though I'm not saying it's a poor quality book. It just didn't resonate with my personal taste.
